The reason I cater to women of color is because they are a group I identify with, who have been historically marginalized and left out of conversations about building wealth. Many women don’t think they can invest or retire early, so I simply want them to know wealth is for women of color too.

Welcome! I created Wealth for Women of Color shortly after taking classes to become a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™.
I already knew barriers to wealth existed for women of color based on my experience as a child of immigrants and also, you know… systemic oppression and marginalization. But being exposed to financial planning curriculum solidified to me that we need more voices that can speak to women of color about finances. The world of wealth is normalized for old, rich white men, and not for women, especially women of color.
