My Story
Hi, I’m Lissa.
I teach women of color how to feel confident and powerful with money.
I’m a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional and Accredited Financial Counselor® who teaches personal finance on YouTube, TikTok, and across the internet — breaking down money in a way that actually makes sense and doesn’t feel overwhelming.
I created Wealth for Women of Color because too many financial spaces fail to reflect our lived experiences, leaving smart, capable women feeling confused, excluded, or under-supported. And because wealth is power, that’s something we have to change.
My work blends practical financial strategy, mindset shifts, and real-life tools to help you understand your money, make confident decisions, and build a financial life that truly supports the life you want — not just one that looks good on paper.
